i have a problem that i keep losing mail which i know has been sent to
me. i know it has been sent because i use Mailwasher to filter out
spam before downloading my legitimate mail. when i use Outlook Express
to download the mail i find no new mail and the mail is then
permanently lost! i have checked the server settings in Outlook
Express and find that the incoming POP server setting gets changed to
127.0.01 on all my accounts. i have reset this to the correct setting
but on every restart the settings get changed again. i have tried
running Spybot and Adaware but these do not seem to have solved the
problem. i hope somebody out there will know what the problem and can
help me solve it.
