When doing nothing on my computer, the screen disconnects from the
CPU.
I can move the mouse or type any key, nothing happens: the sreen
remains in a "no signal" state and the computer is still running. I'm
always forced to restart the computer.
The energy economy settings have a "sleep" time of 15min, and the
reactivity to mouse moves for waking up the screen is set to "high".
I cannot understand what happens. Help needed!
Thanks a lot.
Julien
P.S. My computer runs on Windows 98. The problem occured after the
installation of a 56k modem for which a standard driver was available
in Windows 98.
