I have a problem which is driving me around the bend. It all started
when I thought Windows 98 was refusing to boot up. To cut a long story
short it was just that the pc was running extremely slow. Took about
3/4 hour to get into Windows.
Tried a few things to try and resolve problem including:
- swapping RAM completely
- reseating all the cards
- unplugging and reinserting all cables
- FDSISKed and reFORMATted drive
Still machine runs like a snail. Can do everything with it, even
managed to back up all my data before reformatting.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
