Role: Genesys Call Center Developer
Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: 6 Months +
Rate: DOE (CTC)
Major Responsibilities:
* Engineer and develop high availability solutions, enhancements and
modifications in CTI/Genesys Call
Center release 6.5 / 7.5 based on formal do***ented requirements, and
associated unit testing of enhancements prior to next level testing.
* Develop test plans which will demonstrate functionality against
requirements.
*Coordinate with respective groups in IT and the Business to ensure
adequate end-to-end testing of enhancements and modifications.
*Implement announcements and sup****t these. Implementation to include
interfacing with Symposium and IVR.
Required Skills:
*Demonstrated ability to develop enhancements and modifications in a
timely manner in the Genesys Call Center release 6.5 / 7.5 system,
both in Strategy Development and Softphone Development.
*A minimum of two years developing solutions and enhancements for a
Genesys Call Center application. Specific Genesys Call Center release
6.5 experience is a must.
*A minimum of three years experience in programming in Visual Basic,
Java, and / or C++ is critical.
*Background in Symposium Call Center and IVR systems is highly
desirable.
*Working knowledge of databases (Oracle) and operating systems (Unix/
NT) is required.
*Ability to work as a part of a cross-functional team.
*Working knowledge of the webMethods middleware platform would be
desirable.
Training, Certification, and Education:
*BS degree in IT or related field preferred but not mandatory.
*Project Management certification or training is highly desirable.
*Certified as a Genesys Call Center release 6.5 / 7.5 developer or
demonstrated equivalent experience.
