MC68332 Prob: Interfacing to SCV64

by "dk" <deepak_kurup@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 25, 2005 at 06:36 AM

Hi friends,

I am working on a 68332 based VME card, previously i was using VIC068A
as the interface bridge between local and VME, but since it has become
obsolete, now am redesigning the same system using SCV64 from
TUNDRA(CA91C078).
Now my problem is that, MC68332 has 16 data lines, but most of the
configuration registers of SCV64 are stricly long word aligned,i.e.
they require a 32-bit access ,Now how do i configure thses registers.

If anyone has already done this pls help me out,

with regards,

dk
