The situation is this. I have a tiff do***ent to be OCR'ed (actually
multipage) and I have the resultant text scan. Do any commercially
available OCR programs allow for querying back to the system to find
out where on the page the word "aardvark" occurred (predsumably in the
form of a rectangle)? Obviously the program knows what symbols led to
the conclusion but I was curious whether any made the reverse
information available via API.
