I'd like to develop something to test competency in sorting objects. For
example, consider the average filing cabinet. Inside, the folders (most
likely) are alphabetized. This software would ask the user to (1) spot
those
that are out of order and (2) place them in the correct order.
Item (1) is cake, but I don't see (2) happening as I envision it.
What I may have to settle for is this: You have a set of files (objects)
on,
say, one side of the screen. You have the user drag them into their proper
locations on the other. Click2Learn Tool Book can do this, and I would
suppose that Authorware can as well.
The deliverable can be most anything in terms of, say, some kind of
compiled
file, Windows, Flash, ShockWave, you name it, it's the least of my
concerns.
But I'm using a Mac. I have VirtualPC when I need it and I have another PC
sitting gathering dust, but, well, I paid good $$$ for this thing and I
really don't want to have to use Windows if I don't have to. (Sorry, don't
want to irritate any Windows fans, but you see my point.)
Any ideas?
