I can only connect with named servers, the IX server pool times out

irc.dal.net (6667-7000) When I ask comcast I get a blank stare or some
newbie trying to tell me its a setting in my firewall or IE. I don't know
the issues or the reasons why to be able to explain to them that they need
to fix this. Can someone (Mattias?) please offer an explaination as to why
some can connect to the IX server pool and some cannot. With my old ISP I
could and now I cannot. Comcast seems to not care or has no clue whats up.
