I'm all Googled out on this, someone did suggest downgrading the tcl
package.
The problem is, using FedoraC5, is that eggdrop will run and connect
to the desired server using the -n flag - but any attempt to send the
bot into the background results in nothing. Well, it appears to start,
even has a pid and can be seen in the running processes list - but
it never reaches the server. You cannot telnet to it, nor does it
leave anything in logs. With the -n flag, everyone works fine.
A few Google entries speak of this problem. I have not tried the
downgrading yet, waiting on a friend to help out with that.
