Should Quicktime Picture Viewer open up a bmp file ?

by "Steve" <dornier@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 15, 2008 at 06:22 PM

Hi,
I am running Quicktime 6.5.1 and find that whilst its Picture Viewer (also
v
6.5.1) (Start/Programs>Quicktime>PictureViewer) will open a tiff or jpg or

psd file, it wont display or open a bmp file. I have to go 'all files' to
see the file, then selecting it, and opening it, it says a suitable
graphics
im****ter could not be found.
As my ****tfolio wont display bmp files properly and it requires Quicktime
to
assist with psd files, I wonder if this is the cause.

Tried updating Quicktime but says package cannot be downloaded, server may

be busy' ...tried a while later no go.
