My son has a Packard Bell desk top computer. which was preloaded with
Windows XP home addition.A rather stubborn virus has corrupted the HD It
has
been reformatted to install a clean copy of XP . which should be a simple
task booting straight from theCD. I have altered the BIOS to boot from the
CD, but it opens up the setup menu then freezes when the statement
checking
configuration appears.has anybody any idea where I can get the setup disk
or
disks to boot this computer.
