Need Help With Modem/Fax

I have an HP Pavilion dv6208nr Notebook PC running Vista Premium Home 
with an HD Audio soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP. My ISP is AOL dial up.

I need to send a fax! Can anyone help here or direct me to another 
source of assistance? Vista Premium Home won't do it, I'd have to 
upgrade to another Vista. I thought all modems came with fax software, 
at least they all used to in the day.
